Traditional Work
I have been taking art classes for as long as I can remember so I have experimented with many different materials and techniques over the years. These pieces are so of my favorites that I’ve made so far but I am always looking to learn and experiment with more.
Pain After Death
Concept: The entire piece is done using stippling or dot-work. There are no lines in this piece, only varying degrees of small dots to communicate value.
Dimensions and materials: 5.5”x8.5”, pen on mixed media paper.
Joy in Laughter
Concept: An opaque gouache painting utilizing a full range of values.
Dimensions and materials: 10.5”x15”, gouache on illustration board.
A Call for Help
Concept: draw hands in different positions to show an understanding of the form.
Dimensions and materials: 25.5”x19.5”, chalk on Canson teintes-tan paper.
A Dancer’s Pain
Concept: same as above but in regards to the feet and legs.

Aging with Beauty
Concept: A portrait utilizing a cross hatching technique to illustrate texture.
Dimensions and materials: 11”x14”, graphite on bristol.
